Three memories drawn with pencil, flowers, and honey and herbs displayed on a wooden table. The one on the left is a pencil drawing of a Puerto Rican flag and a person over a row of houses. The person has the word “madre” written on her chest. This drawing is made on a mason jar over a gingham table cloth template. The memory on the center, drawn on the same template, includes marigold petals in the center and a marigold flower delicately placed on top of the jar, partially covering what seems to be some handwritten words in Spanish. The art piece on the left depicts a flag made using honey and dry herbs on a canvas surface. Its shape consists of three long, green dried pieces of lemongrass forming three stripes with criss-crossed marigold leaves in the shape of a star, set on a triangle of lavender.
